The S.A.F.E.R. organization (Southern Area Fire Equipment Research) is seeking the support from fire service leaders to enhance the mission of safety within our profession through education and networking. The S.A.F.E.R. organization represents and supports a broad cross-section of stakeholders in firefighter safety through representatives from local, regional, state, and national fire service organizations that have direct access to equipment manufacturers, vendors, and workplace safety authorities.

Membership in S.A.F.E.R. is an investment in your agency’s safety program, which is an essential part of a comprehensive workplace illness and injury prevention program.  S.A.F.E.R. conducts monthly meetings throughout the region connecting the dots between fire service resources to educate firefighters, streamline equipment selection, and support standards compliance.  Working without geographic boundaries, S.A.F.E.R. acts as a force multiplier for your safety program by facilitating educational and networking opportunities with other local, state, and national safety officers and fire service professionals.

Membership in S.A.F.E.R. is open to all fire service members, fire equipment manufacturers and vendors. The organization is funded by annual membership dues only so please consider the value of S.A.F.E.R. to your agency and the fire service collectively.

Respectfully,

Luis Manzano, S.A.F.E.R. President, Battalion Chief, Ventura City Fire Department
